The kitchen in Veita

The kitchen in Veita is our latest concept! Here we invite you to the chef’s table, where guests can see how the chefs work, and be directly involved in the cooking. The kitchen in Veita can be booked for various private events such as champagne lunch, birthday, friends party with food courses, wine tasting, company parties and other occasions. Around the industrial kitchen island there is room for up to 15 people, while the room itself can accommodate 30 people for dining. The kitchen in Veita opened in April 2021.
Your personal chef
You can also hire your very personal chef who can cook food you can serve at home or at work if there are kitchen facilities there. The chef comes with all the equipment and takes the dishes with him when he leaves. We prepare everything from a 3- to 7-course menu, and you can also rent a waiter to help if you need. Get in touch to check the capacity and agree on a menu and price. You can order a private chef for a minimum of 10 people.
Private function rooms
On the first floor of To rom og kjøkken, we have three different rooms that are suitable for larger or smaller groups. In “Chambre Separée” we can cover 10-14 people and close the door so that it becomes a private room. At the room “Kitchen” there is either a long table for up to 26 or two smaller parties of 10-12 people. This room is open to the kitchen, so you can see the chefs working. In the “Wine Room” we can cover about 40, or two smaller companies of approx. 20 on two tables. Here you can also close the door. If all doors are opened, we can cover a large group of approx. 90 people.
Other function rooms
We have good access to function rooms also outside our own house, where we can offer catering and events for larger or smaller parties, such as weddings, confirmations, birthdays and other occasions, or just a party for friends or colleagues.
E.C. Dahls Pub og Kjøkken

On the ground floor there is a restaurant, pub and a large outdoor terrace in the backyard which is suitable for a casual mingling or BBQ. In addition, we now have the new “Fyrhuset”, which is great for informal gatherings, and preferably in combination with a concert. On the first floor there are large and nice function rooms that are well equipped with projectors and screens that satisfy most needs for presentations and lectures. The first floor is suitable for from 12 to 160 guests in total, and can be divided into four larger and smaller rooms if required.
Tapperiet paa Dahls

“Tapperiet paa Dahls” is a rough industrial arena located adjacent to the brewery. This is a large venue suitable for large events, and can accommodate from 200 to 2000 guests. The room can be decorated and delivered with different expressions in terms of stage, lighting, decor, etc. to be adapted to both the stylish and a little more rough events.
The Archbishop’s Palace

For more than 800 years, the Archbishop’s Palace (Erkebispegården) has been an arena for important decisions and grand celebrations. These locations you can rent one of the halls or rooms. Renting is agreed directly with Nidarosdomens Restaureringsarbeider, and we take care of food, drinks, serving and cleaning. Contact us, and we will be happy to have a meeting to plan your event..
Huitfeldt Stuer
First floor in Kjøpmannsgata 14
Huitfeldt Stuer is suitable for parties of approx. 30-80 people. This is a beautiful location for fine parties, anniversaries, disputations or business dinners. When you rent Huitfeldt Stuer, you have the whole floor to yourself. The owner and landlord is Koteng Eiendom, but everything is organized through To room og kjøkken.
